The unexpected resignation of Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn last Thursday didn't surprise me at all. It is what I have been expecting from him personally.
Any politician with an open mind will definitely do like what he did. I would personally say that he is our hero because we have never had Ethiopian leaders resigning or leaving power, rather most of them will die on the throne or die-hard type deal.
